When they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had already been rolled back. (Mark 16:4)

Jesus's resurrection happens in the middle of the night. In the midst of grief, fear, and exhaustion...Jesus still surprises us with a love that cannot be stopped. As we gather online for Sunday's Digital Dinner Church, we'll unearth the smudged and stained "alleluia" we buried just 6 weeks ago (even though it kinda feels like a lifetime ago). We'll sing songs of resilient praise, even if we're unsure how we'll find our voice. We have a tradition of waving rainbow ribbons every time we hear that incredible word, "Alleluia," so we invite you to gather any colorful ribbon you have, or a scarf, bandana, crazy socks, or whatever you've got...to create a visual choir of praise as we welcome this little Easter. You don't have to pretend that the world is something it's not right now, but together we can look for God's persistent promise in these days. A fuller feast and champagne celebration will come later whenever we can gather again in person.
